I am passionate about India. The sights, sounds, smells, tastes are a feast to my senses, and I love to share this with others. From 2013 to 2020 I hosted Indian Guided Tours, taking small groups of like minded travelers around some of India’s most beautiful regions.

We kept the numbers small to ensure a “real” and personal service. The tours included all flights, accommodation, transportation, most food and always a local guide to give us the true flavour of the country. See the details of some of my previous tours here.

Although I no longer take these tours I do have a very good friend and colleague that does.  I would be delighted to refer you to her as i know you will not be disappointed with her tour/s.

Our journey took us to spiritual Varanasi, foodies heaven Lucknow, visit the magical Taj Mahal in Agra, through majestic Rajasthan and finished in sunny Goa.   Another 25 night tour full of food, spices and sensory delights. We took ten on that tour, so it was a nice cosy group and included visits to homes, villages and a school.

In 2016 we went to the Pushkar camel fair and of course around Rajasthan including Ranthambore National park.

In June 2018 I took a group tour To East Africa to see the game parks and ended in beautiful Zanzibar.

In Septemebr 2018 we went to South India from Cochin, Munnar, Thekady, Mahabalipuram, Pondicherry and out of what used to be Madras.  We had 12 on that tour.  Wow the South was wonderful.

In July 2019 I took a group of 13 from Beijing, China to St Petersburg, Russia on the Trans Siberian.  We went through Mongolia and were there for the opening ceremony of the Naadam Festival – What a spectacle!

In 2020 I was to take a tour to Iran instead of India, to link them all together.  But disaster struck with the murder of an army general which saw the tour no longer safe to go.  So we switched back to India and chose to return to Jaipur for a week long stay, travel up to Amritsar t see the stunning Golden Temple and several other places of great interest to the group.  But again disaster struck with COVID and we could not depart.

I hate to think that my last tour to India is the last time I will ever visit beguiling India, who knows ay?
