Hi, I'm Tracey
About Shawlynot
I first visited India with my good friend Heather in 1985 and finally got the opportunity to return in 2013. On this trip though I was escorting a wonderful group of adventurous travelers from Nelson, New Zealand.
This group showed me the value of wearing a scarf, shawl, pashmina – whatever you like to call them. These ladies knew how to shop and were always coming back on the bus with more stunning, exotic shawls.
Who knew you could own so many and wear them in so many different ways? So my journey began.

About Shawlynot
I am a travel agent during the week, and have been for over 30 years and I also have a love of colour and textures. This makes me one of those shoppers that has to touch everything and unfortunately if it doesn’t feel right I wont buy it.
So it is always
- the colour
- the design
- the touch
but it must have all three.
The shawls I have bought and present to you here on this site, have all be hand picked by me on my trips to India, I love every single one of them and could wear them all also. They dress up or down an outfit, they can make a statement about you or your mood and add colour to an otherwise dull day.
I hope you love them as much as I do BUT if you don’t I will give you your money back.
